Eldorado Starfire

Popular Mechanics (June 1987) billed the '80s-era (and Ford Motor Company-approved?) Eldorado Starfire as a high-performance RV (recreational vehicle).

High-performance?  That must mean this unusual RV is truly capable of speed--something generally unexpected in an RV.  It could give certain Chrysler Corporation and GM high-perfomance cars of the '80s a run for their money!

But...the front end of the Eldorado Starfire looks suspiciously like that of a Continental Mark VII.

And--judging by the size of the front end--the Eldorado Starfire must have a large engine.

I even think the Eldorado Starfire had the potential for inclusion in the Guinness Book of World Records...as the Largest Lincoln Vehicle Ever Built!
